SENCO Support
The SENDCO CPD Network offers a collaborative forum for SENDCOs (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator’s) and other inclusion professionals working within the field of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The SENDCO CPD Network sessions serve as a platform for SENDCOs to stay informed about current and upcoming developments. They provide opportunities to engage with peers in discussing the implications and expectations for schools arising from changes in government guidance and legislation, ensuring that both local and national initiatives remain relevant and up to date.
The SENDCO CPD Network will enable SENDCO’s to:
- Keep abreast of new developments in the area of SEND
- Stay up to date with changes in legislation and government policy
- Share good practice nationally and locally
- Contribute to LA policy and initiatives
SENDCO CPD Network provides access to:
· A flexible package with presentations from specialists in the area of SEND including:
Ø One twilight session
Ø A full day conference presented by NASEN
Ø A full day annual SENDCO conference with national speakers
· Access to resources and specialist materials
