Invitation to nominate for Young Black Achievers Award 2018

Nottingham City Council in partnership with Nottingham City Homes are pleased to invite nominations for the Young Black Achievers Awards from the finest young black achievers in Nottingham’s schools. Awards are given to children and young people of African, African-Caribbean and Black Mixed Heritage between the ages of 5 and 18 years who have excelled either at school or in their communities during a prestigious awards ceremony at Nottingham Council House on Thursday the 8th November 2018, 5pm – 8pm.

Awards are in the following categories:

  • Outstanding academic achievements
  • Outstanding achievements in extra-curricular activities
  • Outstanding contribution in the community.

The closing date for nominations is 28th September 2018 a nomination form and guidance document is below. Please could you share with parents, carers and guardians.
